Carmichael SDA Church Bulletin
It is the week after Easter. Spend just a moment imagining the time post resurrection. If you were a religious leader what thoughts are going through your head? What about as someone who was healed by Jesus? A soldier? A zealot? The clearest pictures we have in the gospels are of the disciples and those who had spent time with Jesus. The good news of a resurrected Jesus, came with joy for most, but it also came with questions. This week as we reflect on the Easter season, perhaps you are processing some spiritual emotions: Thankfulness, humility, worship. But you also may be feeling: guilt, frustration, anger. Wherever you are with your spiritual journey Jesus promises hope and presence. This week that is what I'll be focusing on in my message and I look forward to seeing you at church.
That said I realize that the next two Sabbaths will be unique for us at Carmichael. This weekend is SAA's Alumni weekend and we are very excited about the success of our school and the growth of their alumni celebrations, many of you and many of our children will be sharing what God is continuing to do through SAA this Sabbath at the school for the alumni. Next weekend is our health fair on Sabbath and Sunday. We still have room for volunteers. Art and his team have put a tremendous amount of work into helping our community. If you are able to help please email him at musica4uall@aol.com. It is a good way to spend your Sabbath/Sunday.
