Carmichael SDA Church Bulletin

Having just returned from eleven soul stirring days in Cuba I am so humbled by the spirit of devotion, service, and commitment I found in our leaders and members there. I was constantly bombarded by the contrasts I saw. I saw those that have and those that have not, with the latter outnumbering the former by far. I saw the amazing facades of past glory days backed by the natural beauty of this Caribbean paradise. But what struck me most was the unwavering faith and vision of our believers and workers there who work so mightily with such limited income and resources. My message this week focuses on so many of the things that divide us and how we need to commit to the One that breaks down those walls and brings us together as one body through His grace, mercy, and sacrifice. My heartfelt request for each of you is that you would pray earnestly for the people and the work in Cuba. Thank you for allowing us the time away to have this life changing experience.
